Signify Launches Philips Hue Play, a Gradient Light Bar for PCs

Signify is expanding its lineup in the gaming space with the newly launched Philips Hue Play, a gradient strip for PCs. Like the 55-inch Play strip for TVs, the PC version of the Play strip is placed on the back of the monitor to provide flexible thematic lighting.

The new strips are available in 2 versions, for $169.99 for 24-27 inch monitors, $189.99 for 32-34 inch models, and $279.99 for a bundle of 3 24-27 inch monitors. The new Play lightbar series, which can be synchronized with another connected lighting in the Philips Hue ecosystem, will be available starting September 13.

The Play strips for PC are compatible with the existing Hue Sync desktop application and can be used with Philips Hue’s Play Sync cartridges. They will also connect to Corsair’s iCue lighting software. This software allows you to synchronize existing lighting effects on your PC and connected peripherals with the Play strips.
