The new version of the firmware also adds “Focus frame only” (focus frame only) to the information display menu bar of the ▢ display) mode setting. After selecting “STILL-LIKE” mode in “Style”, “Focus frame only” will appear in the menu.
In addition, Sigma has added ARRI ALEXA LF/ ALEXA Mini LF’s Open Gate (x1.25/ x1.3/ x1.5/ x1.65/ x1.8 /x2) modes to the camera and setting information.
Elsewhere, both cameras are now compatible with 4TB SSD external solid-state drives, support ATOMOS Cloud Studio and cloud collaboration tools, and you can now turn off the camera even during long exposures.
Sigma also said that the latest SIGMA Photo Pro software will support “Warm Gold” (warm gold), and that SIGMA Photo Pro software will better support Apple’s M1/M2 processors. It is currently under development and the new version is expected to be released in 2023. Released in June.
