Sharp today announced two neck-band speakers AN-SS3 and AN-SX8, support for noise-canceling voice calls, and will be available on July 22.
Sharp introduced the AN-SS3 with a dual-microphone design that filters out ambient noise and enhances the radio effect. The AN-SS3 also features a “broadcast” function that allows multiple identical devices to be connected at the same time. It can meet the needs of multiple users such as the whole family watching TV together.

The AN-SX8 also features a dual microphone design and is equipped with “OPSODIS” and “Dolby Atmos” stereo sound reproduction technologies to provide a “wearable personal theater-like immersive listening experience. OPSODIS is a 3D audio technology jointly developed by Kashima Productions and the University of Southampton in the UK, which enables 3D audio effects for terrestrial digital broadcasting. The speaker is also equipped with the “ACOUSTIC VIBRATION SYSTEM”, which provides users with “deeper bass effects” by vibrating the bass reflex tube inside the unit.

The newest addition to the lineup is the AN-SS3, which is estimated to cost 19,800 yen including tax (currently about RMB 1014) and the AN-SX8, which is estimated to cost 39,600 yen including tax (currently about RMB 2028).
