Sharp today released 25.3/13.3-inch color ink screen “ePoster”, used as electronic posters and signs, model EP-C251 and EP-C131, respectively.
The series is described as utilizing E-Ink panels, with the EP-C251 having a resolution of 3,200 x 1,800 and the EP-C131 having a resolution of 1,600 x 1,200. both models have 8GB of built-in storage, are equipped with a USB-C interface, and support Wi-Fi networking.
The posters support content changes via USB interface or smartphone and will be sold with a proprietary content distribution system, “e-Signage S,” which allows for batch operations.
The two color ink e-posters will be available in September, the price has not yet been announced.
E ink in 2021 launched a 25.3-inch color e-paper signage, using E Ink Spectra 3100 four-color e-paper technology, black, white, red and yellow ink particles, the use of high-contrast and highly saturated color combinations, which can display sharp and eye-catching images and information.
