Gears of War is a popular shooting game on the Microsoft Xbox platform. Many fans of the game are looking forward to the arrival of Gears of War 6, but the latest news says SFG Games will launch a Gears of War card game.
SFG Games, which has adapted games like Elden Ring, Resident Evil and Dark Souls for the tabletop, is working with Microsoft and The Coalition on a new Gears of War card game that will be released in 2023.
SFG announced the game on its Twitter account earlier today but did not reveal specific details about the game. Gears of War, one of Microsoft’s flagship exclusives, was already a hit in the Xbox 360 era. Gears of War became influential in its time for its over-the-shoulder cover system of gunplay, spawning a series of similar games.
Gears of War was previously owned by Fortnite developer Epic Games, but later changed hands with most of the studio, joining forces with Microsoft’s Black Tusk team to eventually form The Coalition.
