It was learned from SERES that SERES 5, a new energy strategic model under the SERES Group, was unveiled at the Brussels Motor Show in Belgium on January 13, and signed contracts with more than 20 partners. New car orders exceeded 20,000 units.
Seres said that the new model SERES 5 launched this time is the first new energy vehicle released overseas by Chinese car companies in 2023. The release of this car is also another important measure for the strategic globalization of Seres’ new energy vehicles.
According to reports, through continuous technical investment, Seres has formed high-performance pure electric drive technology and intelligent range-extending electric drive technology and launched smart electric vehicles and three electric products. After five years of research and development, design and verification, Seres Lisi officially launched the SERES 5 new energy model in Europe. More than 20 dealers from Europe, America, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and other regions signed contracts with Seres on the spot.
Arnaud Bassil, Chief Product Engineer of CATL, said that CATL will continue to cooperate with Seres to push flagship models equipped with cutting-edge intelligence and new energy technologies to the European market.
According to data of Seres, as of 2022, Seres has exported nearly 500,000 cars to more than 70 export markets.
