Sega’s real-time strategy PC game “Company of Heroes 3” announced that it will land on Sony PS5 and Microsoft Xbox Series X / S platform on May 30, which will be the first time the series landed on a host platform.

Company of Heroes 3 has been rebuilt from the ground up for PlayStation and Xbox, and console players can use a newly designed joystick control scheme, as well as a custom UI that fits the handle, developer Relic said.

In addition, the game ushers in a fully tactical pause feature that allows players to freeze the action and think about their next move without having to play in real-time, reducing the complexity of the operation for console platform players. The game also offers a multiplayer mode for players to choose from, the console version of “Company of Heroes 3” starting April 26.
Game description:
"The "Company of Heroes" series will present players with a new battlefield stage with its famous realistic narrative approach. Players can unlock new historically realistic tactics, experience four unique camps, and uncover many of the lesser-known stories of World War II.
In single-player mode, the dynamic turn-based Italian campaign offers a sandbox-style gameplay experience with a higher level of strategic options, while the vast deserts of North Africa provide a classic, narrative-driven single-player experience.
In addition, Company of Heroes 3 offers players who love competitive matchmaking a rich multiplayer mode and player co-op versus AI mode gameplay experience that includes more camps, mechanics and units."
