Seagate yesterday announced the PS5 game console dedicated Game Drive NVMe SSD, The series of SSDs were provided 1TB options and 2TB options, priced at $99.99 (currently about RMB 731) and $159.99 (currently about RMB 1170).

The SSD is said to offer sequential read speeds of up to 7300 MB/s, 18 million hours of MTBF, and a write life of 2550TBW. It comes with Seagate-proven E18 controllers, 3D TLC NAND, and has a five-year warranty.

Seagate claims that the SSD is the fastest PS5 console-specific drive it currently offers and that it provides gamers with the latest PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD technology to bring “higher speeds, greater endurance, and more capacity” to PS5 consoles.
