Accessory maker Satechi has announced a new docking station, Triple 4K Docking Station, for Mac products such as the 15 MacBook Air, which was launched yesterday, with the biggest highlight being the ability to connect up to three 4K displays at the same time.
Apple Mac devices with M1 chips are limited to one external display; Mac devices with M2 chips are limited to two external displays.
This accessory from Satechi bypasses those limitations by allowing any device that supports DisplayLink technology to connect up to three 4K displays.
The docking station also features a wide range of I/O ports, with two 5Gb/s USB 3.0 ports, a Gigabit Ethernet port on the back, and support for up to 130W of power output.
The docking station is available on Satechi’s website for $299.99 (currently about RMB 2145).
