Officials say the PRO-G40 SSD is a simple, flexible solution for business professionals and creative professionals alike, providing excellent productivity with compatible support for Thunderbolt 3 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 interfaces.
The mobile SSD is described as enabling dual-mode compatibility with Thunderbolt 3 (40 Gbps) and USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) through a single port, making cross-device collaboration easier and maximizing efficiency.
In terms of speed, officials say the new product boasts read speeds of up to 2700 MB/s and write speeds of 1900 MB/s via the Thunderbolt 3 (40 Gbps) interface, moving 50 GB in 30 seconds or less. an aluminum core keeps heat away from the inside to help maintain ultra-fast transfer speeds.
The PRO-G40 SSD features a professional-grade enclosure that provides superb strength with IP68 dust/water resistance, up to 4000 lbs. of crush resistance and up to 3 meters of drop resistance.
The PRO-G40 SSD is now available in the United States, with a suggested retail price of $299.99 (about 2,127 yuan) for 1TB and $449.99 (about 3,190 yuan) for 2TB, with a five-year limited warranty.
