Along with the recently released Galaxy S23 series, Samsung launched OneUI 5.1 based on Android 13. In addition to the significant enhancement of the photo album function, another new feature worthy of attention in this update is the introduction of a new battery widget.
The new version of the Battery Widget on OneUI 5.1 offers two different style options, both of which perform very well on the Galaxy S23 series models.
The first battery widget option displays the battery status of the smartphone and connected devices in a 4×1 format. The second option is similar to the Smart Suggestions widget in OneUI 5.0, with a rectangular shape and a green bar showing the battery status.
Samsung has confirmed that it will launch the OneUI 5.1 upgrade for older models in the near future, which means that supported models will also get this battery widget.
