2023 China National Appliance and Consumer Electronics Expo (AWE 2023) opened today at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. Samsung’s new 89-inch Samsung MICRO LED product made its world debut.
Samsung said the series will debut in China at the end of May.

Samsung MICRO LED uses inorganic self-lighting technology, which provides advantages in terms of longevity, efficiency, speed and reliability. Relying on the advanced Micro AI processor, Samsung MICRO LED independently controls more than twenty million micro LED chips, and the exquisite control of its light and colour achieves high brightness and high contrast of the picture, showing different shades of micro-expression even for the same colour. Samsung MICRO LED also supports HDR10, HDR10 + technology with a maximum brightness of 2000nit to deliver rich detailed textures, paired with a high contrast screen and high dynamic light rendering technology to present a wider range of gradations and more realistic picture textures.
In addition, the Samsung MICRO LED features Dolby Atmos with OTS Pro sound and picture tracking technology, which delivers dynamic sound with full motion tracking and perception of sound details to every corner. Intelligent Sound Control AVA clarifies the sound in response to the surrounding sound environment, while Adaptive Sound optimises the sound effect by automatically analysing the scene. μ-Symphony allows the TV and the audio to sound in harmony, with 6.2.2CH speakers and 100W sound to create a three-dimensional surround sound field.
Samsung’s MICRO LED features a futuristic, trendy design with a 99.99% screen-to-body ratio that makes the bezel almost invisible, allowing content, screen and wall to blend harmoniously.
