Samsung has finalized the Galaxy Unpacked conference in Seoul on July 26, and may announce a new XR headset.
According to foreign technology media GoAndroid, the battery of Samsung’s extended reality (XR) headset has been certified by three market regulators in South Korea, India and China, further indicating that Samsung will launch the XR headset by the end of this month.
According to the information displayed on the SafetyKorea certification platform, the Samsung XR headset will be equipped with an EB-BI 610 ABY battery, which should be the successor to the EB-BI 120 ABY battery.
Quoting the media report that Samsung’s upcoming AR glasses (model SM-I120) and XR headsets will be equipped with the battery.
EB-BI 610 ABY battery is also approved by India BIS and China CQC Certification Platform. This suggests that the XR earphones may launch not only in South Korea but also in India and China. The picture is blurry, and the capacity details are not yet clear.
