It’s been a while since Samsung launched its last FE smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE was released in January 2O22. But since then the Galaxy S22 FE has not been released. The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will be released in the second half of this year, according to a later leak.
And now there’s new information from tipster Roland Quandt. The blogger says it “looks like” there won’t actually be an S23 FE phone this year.
Samsung previously managed to sell more than 10 million Galaxy S20 FE phones. In contrast, the Galaxy S21 FE didn’t do as well (it’s powered by the Snapdragon 888 chip). Even the Galaxy A73’s sales figures were dismal, with only 3 million units. As a result, Samsung is carefully planning its smartphone lineup to avoid sales assimilation among Galaxy devices. The report says Samsung will skip the Galaxy A74 to boost sales of the Galaxy S23 FE.
Previously it was revealed that Samsung will launch a new Galaxy S FE version of its smartphone in the second half of 2023. The new report claims that Samsung will launch the Galaxy S23 FE to replace the Galaxy A74 phone. the Galaxy S23 FE is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip.
