Samsung will sell the most sound bars in the world in 2022, maintaining its crown as the market leader for nine consecutive years.
According to a new report from market research firm FutureSource Consulting, Samsung leads the soundbar market with an 18.4 percent market share in sales and a 20.2 percent revenue share. The report also shows that the soundbar market has grown steadily year over year, with a growth rate of 5.7% over the past three years. About 23.16 million sound bars were sold worldwide, with Samsung selling about 4.2 million. Sales in this market are expected to reach 26 million units by 2025.

Samsung launched the 2023 highest-end sound bar HW-Q990C earlier this year, priced at 1.89 million won (currently about 9866 CNY), using an 11.1.4-channel speaker setup with wireless Dolby Dolby Atmos, Q-Symphony 3.0, Space Fit Sound Pro and Game Mode Pro. It also features AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Tap Sound, and SmartThings. Q-Symphony can utilize up to 22 audio channels supported by a compatible TV processor.
