Samsung W24/Flip folding screen phone released, sale on September 22

The “Heart for the World” W24 series was officially released today, including W24 and W24 Flip models, priced at RMB 15,999 (16GB+1TB) and RMB 9,999 (12GB+512GB) respectively.

The configuration of the Samsung W24 series is basically the same as that of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 released earlier, both equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor.

Samsung W24 is equipped with a 6.2-inch external screen and a 7.6-inch internal screen. The peak brightness of both screens reaches 1750 nits and 120Hz high refresh rate. The internal screen resolution is 2176 x 1812 and the external screen resolution is 2316 x 904. It adopts ultra-closed Seiko hinges. The phone is equipped with a 10-megapixel front lens + 4-megapixel under-screen lens, a rear 50-megapixel wide-angle lens + a 10-megapixel telephoto lens + a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and supports 3x optical zoom and 30x digital zoom. In addition, the battery capacity of this new phone is 4400mAh and supports 25W wired charging.

The internal screen size of the Samsung W24 Flip is 6.7 inches, with a peak brightness of 1750 nits, and supports 1~120Hz adaptive high refresh, with a resolution of 2640 x 1080; the external screen size is 3.4 inches, with a peak brightness of 1600 nits, and supports 60Hz refresh rate, the resolution is 720 x 748. In addition, the phone is equipped with a 10-megapixel front lens, a rear 12-megapixel wide-angle lens and an ultra-wide-angle lens, supporting 10x digital zoom. The phone has a battery capacity of 3700mAh (typical) and also supports 25W wired charging.

The main difference between the Samsung W24 series and the Galaxy Z Fold 5 / Flip 5 is in appearance. The W24 uses a high-end gold frame + grey color scheme, while the Samsung W24 Flip uses a black and white color scheme, supplemented by a gold frame design. The frames of both models are made of armored aluminum and the screens are covered with UTG glass.

The Samsung W24 series will be available for reservation from 18:00 on September 15th to 24:00 on September 21st, and will be available for sale through all channels on September 22nd. In addition, users who make reservations for purchase can receive one of three gifts:
