The Samsung Galaxy A02s is getting a new firmware update in the United States, including Android 12. The firmware started pushing in other markets in July, and the U.S. is just now catching up with the rest of the world.

Samsung is now focusing more on Android 13 updates for some Galaxy phones and tablets.

The Android 12 update for the Samsung Galaxy A02s includes One UI version 4.1. The package firmware version number is A025VSQU2CVJ1 and comes with a security patch for September 2022. Android 12 is the last major OS update for the Galaxy A02s, and the device will not get Android 13 or One UI 5.0.

The Samsung Galaxy A02s was released last year with Snapdragon 450 chip, pre-installed Android 10 / One UI 2.0 Core system, 6.5-inch HD+ (1600×720) LCD screen, 5MP camera on the front, 13MP main camera + 2MP depth of field + 2MP macro camera on the rear, 5000mAh battery, 15W charging support, and Type C interface support.
