digital blogger @i Ice Universe today posted that the Samsung S23 Ultra phone will add 2x portrait mode to the camera after the next firmware update. The new camera will have a new 2x portrait mode in the next firmware update of the Samsung S23 Ultra. No more information is available at this time.
It is worth mentioning that, Samsung pushed a new system update to the Samsung S23 series in April this year, which upgraded the camera function, including the following:
- A new feature added to the Albums app that allows for the deletion of photos that are being processed after the camera has taken them.
- Making photos faster. Samsung tweaked the AF mechanism so that when the user presses the shoot button, the user can take a picture even if it is not fully in focus. Users who want to take a picture after completing focus, as before, can change it in the latest version of Camera Assistant.
- Improvements to picture clarity and flash algorithms in low-light indoor scenarios when Super Steady On is turned on.
- fixing the issue of intermittent display of a green line on the left side when shooting.
- fixed the stability of shooting FHD60 video when Auto FPS is disabled in the rear camera.
- fixes the problem that the sky sometimes shows line streaks of noise when shooting in low light clear.
- fixes an issue that occurs when shooting in low light after selecting Shooting Speed > High Resolution > Speed Priority in Camera Assistant.
- fixing the issue of intermittent failure to recognize faces after ending a 3rd party video app call.
- Improved camera stability.
