Samsung began to roll out the One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy S23 series phones in late March. However, many users found that after installing the relevant update, the phone screen sometimes became unresponsive to touch and had to tap the screen multiple times to operate.
It is noticed that Samsung currently issued an official press release on the community in response to this problem, claiming that the root cause of the problem with the series of phone screens is a bug in the Google Discover Feed application. Currently, Samsung is working with Google to solve related problems, and the phone screen does not respond. Nimble users can currently temporarily clear Google app data in settings, after which the screen “should respond normally and as expected.”
Public information shows that Google launched the Discover Feed control application in September 2018. The application is somewhat similar to Microsoft’s Microsoft Start. It mainly provides a series of information flow cards for Google independent applications on users’ phones and the negative screen of the system.
