Samsung officially released the Galaxy S23 FE phone on October 4. It is equipped with the same Exynos 2200 processor as the Galaxy S22 series. However, there is a significant performance improvement in terms of running scores, but it is still lower than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.
According to RON TEK’s real-machine testing, the performance of the Exynos 2200 on the Galaxy S23 FE does seem to be better than that of the Galaxy S22 series. On Geekbench 6.2, the S23 FE has a single-core score of 1612 and a multi-core score of 4005.
In the GeekBench benchmark library, the Galaxy S22 Ultra, also equipped with Exynos 2200, scored 1269 and 3784, which means that the performance of the enhanced Exynos 2200 has increased by 15%.
In the AnTuTu benchmark, the Galaxy S23 FE’s CPU score was 329165 and its GPU score was 437040.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra has a CPU score of 305069 and a GPU score of 312522. Judging from the running scores, the CPU performance has improved by nearly 10%, but the GPU performance has increased significantly by 30%.
Still, the Exynos 2200 on the Galaxy S23 FE struggled to maintain sustained performance under load, with performance dropping by about 25% in stress tests.
It was reported in September this year that Samsung has improved the Exynos 2200 processor. Judging from more than a dozen GeekBench scores, the performance of the Galaxy S23 FE will be better than the previous performance of the S22 series.
