This isn’t Samsung’s first try at a curved screen monitor, but this one stands out from the rest. From its humungous screen size to its display type, this monitor stands out from the crowd of gaming monitors. At first glance, this curved gaming monitor looks like some gadget straight out of a sci-fi film. But, looks don’t justify this monitor’s performance, its specifications do.

Just like we said earlier, we will stick to the basics of this gaming monitor. Starting is its massive 55-inch UHD 4K HDR 10+ resolution screen, this monitor makes us wonder what the sweet spot is with a monitor’s screen size. The screen has a 1000R curvature and can sit in either of two orientations, horizontal or vertical, both of which are adjustable.

The big flex of this gaming monitor is its screen abilities, and we will mention that it has a 16:9 aspect ratio. Joining this is its 14-bit processing, which pairs with Quantum Mini LEDs for local dimming. Its peak brightness clocks 2,000 nits and comes with a matte finish for the reduction of glares and reflections.

Like every other gaming monitor, the Samsung Odyssey Ark needs to be fast in its response, and it comes with a 165Hz refresh rate. It also has a 1ms response time for those snappy moves while gaming. The monitor also comes with support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.

The monitor also comes with a game hub for extra settings while gaming. There is also an Ark dial which acts like a remote for controlling the monitor that runs Tizen OS. All the necessary connection ports are available on this monitor and the starting price of this monitor is $3500.
