Samsung launched in Germany SSD 990 PRO heat sink version, a total of 1TB version and 2TB version two optional, priced at 159.90 euros (current about RMB 1180) and 249.90 euros (current about RMB 1844 ).
In terms of detailed configuration, the Samsung SSD 990 PRO Heat Sink Edition features an ultra-thin design with an overall thickness of just 8.2 mm, making it easy to install in devices such as PlayStation 5, desktop PCs and laptops. In addition, with Samsung’s newly developed Nickel Plated Controller and Dynamic Thermal Protection (DTG) technology, the 990 PRO Heat Sink Edition keeps drive temperatures in the right range to prevent performance fluctuations caused by drive overheating.
The 990 PRO Heat Sink Edition is also equipped with the latest Samsung V-NAND technology, which provides ultra-high transfer speeds via the PCIe 4.0 interface. According to Samsung’s official statement, the sequential read and write speeds are 7450 MB/s and 6900 MB/s respectively, and the random read and write speeds are 1400K and 1550K IOPS respectively.
