Samsung has started pushing June update to Galaxy S23 series phones in the middle of this month, the installation package size is 2.2GB, focusing on improving the camera performance.
Samsung did not officially announce the detailed update log, after being trolled by users, the official Samsung community moderator shared the full log of the June camera update.
According to the Korean log content, listed the main information as follows:
We added 2X portrait mode in the June update and added the ability to delete multiple dynamic photos at the same time in the gallery.
We added 2X portrait mode and improved the photo quality in low light environment with 3X zoom. Available models: Samsung Galaxy S23 series.
Support for deleting multiple dynamic photos in the Gallery app. Supported models: Galaxy Note 20, S20, S21 and S22 series, and Galaxy Z Fold and Flip series (excluding the first generation Galaxy Fold).
Photo Remaster tool corrects edge distortion in photos taken with the main camera. Supported models: Galaxy Note 20, S20, S21, and S22 series, and Galaxy Z Fold and Flip series (excluding the first generation Galaxy Fold).
Corrects edge distortion in photos taken with the main camera when using the main camera for 1-1.5x zoom shots. Supported models: Galaxy S23 series, but other devices can get these improvements through the Galaxy Enhance-X app.
Added option to turn off Adaptive Pixel in Camera Assistant. Supported models are the Galaxy S23 series.
Fixed HDR framing error when shooting in backlight conditions under the Select Speed Priority option in Camera Assistant. Supported models are the Galaxy S23 series.
