Samsung is preparing to release its massive 55-inch Odyssey Ark curved screen display in August, SamMobile reports, citing Korean media outlet ETNews. Samsung announced it at CES 2022 earlier this year, and the latest report says that it has passed some necessary certification procedures and will go on sale soon. Aside from the 16:9 4K panel, and a stand that supports tilt, pitch, and swivel adjustments, the known details of the Odyssey Ark are still fairly limited.
Samsung has only teased that the Odyssey Ark will arrive in the second half of 2022, and the latest revelations have pointed to an August time window. Although the price and refresh rate of the display is not yet known, the turntable accessory for adjusting the lighting and management is quite interesting.
ETNews notes that the Samsung Odyssey Ark has been certified by the Korean radio/energy agency in recent weeks, meaning the 55-inch curved display will be available soon.
