A few days after the Galaxy Z Fold4 appeared in the FCC database, it is now time to announce the Galaxy Z Flip4 to the public. As usual, the FCC certification then offers little in the way of specifications or important information, as this is a very technical test of the device’s network and charging capabilities. On the communication side of the specs, the Galaxy Z Flip4 model number SM-F721U supports Wi-Fi 802.11a/n/ac/ax, 5G (below 6GHz and millimeter wave) and wireless charging.
There are rumors that the Galaxy Z Flip4 will have a 3700mAh battery, 400mAh larger than its predecessor, and support 25W charging (15W for the old model). Processor wise Flip 4 will come with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and 8GB of RAM, Adreno 730 GPU, Android 12 OS, and 8GB of RAM. For imaging, the Flip 4 is said to offer a dual 12-megapixel camera and a 10-megapixel front-facing camera. On the display side, it will have a 6.78-inch 1080p Super AMOLED primary screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. on the outside, there could be a 2.1-inch AMOLED secondary screen.
The Galaxy Z Flip4 could be launched on August 10, joining the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Watch5 among the flagship phone launches in the second half of the year.
