Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and predecessor details comparison: bigger camera module

After the source OnLeaks shared a high-definition rendering of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 phone, it recently joined hands with the foreign technology website smartprix to compare the differences between the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 phones in detail.

Larger camera module
The Galaxy Z Flip5 is on the left and the Galaxy Z Flip6 phone is on the right. The difference in camera size can be clearly seen, and the renderings also show different flash modules.

There are two possibilities:

Samsung opted for a larger camera sensor to allow in more light, improving camera performance

Just a change in appearance, no other changes

It was previously reported that there is news that the main camera of the Galaxy Z Flip6 phone may be upgraded to 50 million pixels, while the main camera of the Galaxy Z Flip5 phone is 12 million pixels.

Thinner hinged cover
Samsung uses a slightly thinner metal shell to cover the hinge part. Judging from the exposed renderings, the height has been narrowed. However, based on the current leaked information, there is no information indicating that Samsung will improve the hinge part of the Galaxy Z Flip6 phone.

The edges are squarer
On the left is the Galaxy Z Flip5 and on the right is the Galaxy Z Flip6 phone. You can see that the edges of the Flip6 are flat and square, while the edges of the Flip 5 are rounded and blend into the side borders.

The Flip 6 has two microphones on its top bezel, and the front-facing earpiece is much larger than the previous generation of foldable phones. Although the renders are not to scale, it looks like the volume rocker and power button have also lost some weight.
