Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 phone 3.4-inch external screen Flex Window initial use

After using the 1.9-inch screen for two consecutive years, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip series was upgraded to a 3.4-inch screen on the latest Galaxy Z Flip5 phone.

Samsung calls the outer screen “Flex Window”, which is 3.78 times larger than the previous generation. The outer screen panel is protected by the same Gorilla Glass Victus 2 glass as the back panel and provides users with rich customization functions.

Samsung said that by expanding the external screen, users can check the weather, control multimedia playback, follow stock market dynamics, and more.

Not only are these widgets beautiful and functional, but you can see them at a glance by simply pinching the cover screen to activate a new multi-widget view.

Samsung also allows users to control Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on the outer screen, and it features a QWERTY keyboard for quick replies to user messages.

Galaxy Z Flip 5 users can also customize swipe-up options to access Samsung Wallet, QR codes, coupons, loyalty cards, boarding passes, health passes, digital keys and more.

The 3.4-inch Flex Window works perfectly with the new Flex Mode hinge, which provides a better photo experience and also allows users to view pictures, adjust colors or delete pictures without opening the device.

Samsung has also developed a new Flipsuit Case that has a variable NFC card and takes advantage of the size and functionality of the new cover screen. This combination allows users to match the Flex Window design with the Flipsuit Case, making it easier to express their style.
