Samsung is coming up with its next big, potentially winning foldable smartphone in the form of the Galaxy Z Flip 4. The clamshell phone will reportedly feature a larger cover display in comparison to its previous Galaxy Flip versions.
Customers who bought the original Galaxy Flip clamshell foldable phone found the design and innovation extremely unique. The only problem hindering the experience was that the cover display was not convenient. Additionally, the cover display was not properly functioning as intended. For instance, the original Galaxy Flip featured a tiny 1.06-inch cover display, making the display notifications too shabby to even read properly. Samsung heeded this genuine concern. It amended the problem by featuring a larger 1.9-inch cover display in its Galaxy Z Flip 3. With this improvement, buyers were left satisfied.
Galaxy Z Flip 4’s cover display to get more convenient
Display industry specialist of DSCC, Ross Young, has recently tweeted regarding the possibility of a larger cover display. Samsung is planning to go bigger with an even larger cover display for its Samsung Galaxy Flip 4. He mentioned that the cover display size of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will allegedly be more than 2-inches.
The source is reliable, and it only means that there will be more utility for the cover display of the Galaxy Z Flip 4. For instance, this will let users conveniently perform small tasks from the cover display itself. Additionally, it will prevent the need to unfold the phone for tasks that can be done otherwise. Ultimately, this will lead to better longevity for the phone.
A Dutch publication GalaxyClub has also made a claim relating to the battery capacity of the Galaxy Z Flip 4. The publication reported that the battery size of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will be about 3,400 mAh. For instance, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 has a 3,300 mAh battery size.
Samsung is yet to make an official press release regarding the specifications of the Galaxy Z Flip 4. It will surely expect the Galaxy Z Flip 4 to make a huge sale after launching the product on the market around August of this year.
