The Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro 2 will succeed the XCover 5 from last year. The XCover line-up from Samsung features rugged smartphones that can survive harsh conditions where other devices will naturally break down. The upcoming entry from this smartphone line just hit the Google Play Console listing. We now have a little knowledge of what we should expect from this device.

A few specifications of this device came alongside the listing, such as its processor, and Android version. This device will feature a 6.56-inch screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio. Most likely this will be a PLS LCD screen as seen on last year’s model.

The processor to power this machine is the Snapdragon 778G processor. This will come with a 6GB RAM capacity and possible storage variants. This smartphone has also shown its prowess on Geekbench, flexing a single core score of 765 and a multicore running score of 2616. Hence, proving that it is a capable machine for carrying out basic device actions without any lag. It also has support for 5G, so users can be sure of blazing fast internet and Wi-Fi connection.

The number of cameras on the rear or front end of this device isn’t confirmed. But from available leaks, we expect it to feature a dual rear camera setup and a notch display housing the front camera. The launch date and price of this device remain a mystery, but we can be sure it’ll hit the market soon. Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro 2 will appeal to those whose jobs require them to use a solid device due to harsh working conditions.
