According to reports, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic Astro Edition will be released in the Middle East and North Africa, including Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Turkey. A tribute to innovations and scientific contributions in astronomy, mathematics and time.
It is learned from Samsung’s official website that this limited edition watch was inspired by the astrolabe, an ancient astronomical instrument used to track stars and planets, which can help scientists and travelers understand time and find themselves when traveling way.
The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic Astro Edition comes in only one size (47mm) and features dials depicting constellations, stars and other celestial objects. Samsung has also added astrolabe-inspired features to the smartwatch’s software, including an on-dial compass and moon/sun phases. The watch has its own watch face, and users can track the movement of the sun and moon directly from the wrist.
The bezel of this bespoke watch is made of ceramic and features horoscopes for the 24 different zodiac signs, and it also comes with an additional fabric strap and an Astro Edition collectible. Pricing for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic Astro Edition has not yet been announced.
