Samsung Galaxy S25 series to use a new processor brand

According to the latest news shared by the source @Tech_Reve, Samsung may abandon the Exynos brand in the future. Exynos 2400 may be the last product of the brand, and a new brand will be launched starting from Exynos 2500. Unifying Qualcomm Snapdragon chips and Exynos chips.

@OreXda recently posted a tweet, revealing a seemingly unlikely piece of news.

Starting in 2025, Samsung smartphone chips will adopt the following changes:

The Galaxy Z series only uses Snapdragon chips

The Galaxy S series only uses Exynos chips

The Galaxy A series uses MediaTek and Exynos chips.

@Tech_Reve has a different take on this, and he doesn’t think the Galaxy S25 series will only use Exynos chips. He said:

As far as I know, Samsung not only develops its own dedicated chips (such as Samsung SLI), but also works with Qualcomm.

Especially since Roh Tae-moon’s successor, Lee Il-hwan, has a soft spot for Qualcomm, it’s harder to believe he would abandon Qualcomm and only use Exynos chips.

Therefore, Samsung may launch a new processor brand starting with the Galaxy S25 series, so that it will no longer distinguish between Exynos and Snapdragon.

Then Exynos 2400 will be Samsung’s last Exynos, and it is expected that starting from Exynos 2500, the chips will be released under a new brand. During this transition period, Qualcomm chips may also be available as Samsung’s dedicated chips.
