The Samsung Galaxy S23 will be released next spring. Prior to this, information about Samsung’s 2024 flagship mobile S24 series has begun to emerge. You can expect Samsung to improve the camera performance of the Galaxy S24 high-end phone.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has one of the best camera zoom performances in the industry. According to leaker Ice Universe, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature a better telephoto camera sensor and an improved zoom mechanism. It’s unclear exactly what the new zoom scheme will be, though.
LG Innotek recently released a new telephoto camera lens mechanism that provides a continuous zoom range of 4x to 9x. This means users can capture image clarity at all zoom levels, starting at 4x and ending at 9x, similar to a dedicated digital camera or SLR. If Samsung could bring a similar zoom camera to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the effect would be incredible.
Ice Universe believes that the main camera of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra may be the same as the previous S23 Ultra product, or bring only modest performance improvements.
