The report claims that German semiconductor materials supplier Merck has built a dedicated production line for M13 materials at Boseong Industrial Park in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, in 2022 to meet the demand for Samsung’s M13 OLED panels for the Galaxy S24 series, and depending on the scale of mass production, M13 panels will be used for the S24 and the S24+ as well.

After Samsung deployed M13 OLED panels in the Galaxy S24 series, it will subsequently supply Apple’s iPhone 16 sales with panels of this material level.
