Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Added to IMEI Database: Revelation of the new Galaxy S series

Preparations are underway for the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S24 series. As Techgoing, we will reveal the new phones. The fact that the smartphones have already been added to the GSMA IMEI Database suggests that the release of these new models is imminent. Just a week ago, the S24+ successfully passed the Geekbench test, unveiling the technical specifications of the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy. In this article, we delve deeper into the details of the upcoming series.

Galaxy S24 Series in the IMEI Database

Galaxy S24 series, as you might already know, will comprise three models: Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra. Similar to S23 series from last year, these will feature newly customized Qualcomm SOCs. In comparison to the standard Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy will offer users elevated CPU clock speeds.

Galaxy S24 SM-S921B/DS
Galaxy S24+ SM-S926/DS
Galaxy S24 Ultra SM-S928B/DS

Model Details:

  • Galaxy S24: SM-S921B/DS
  • Galaxy S24+: SM-S926B/DS
  • Galaxy S24 Ultra: SM-S928B/DS

The model numbers of the new Galaxy S24 series have been clearly stated, and the data we have identified from the GSMA IMEI Database is displayed along with the model names. If we recall the model numbers of the S23 series, they were SM-S911B/DS, SM-S916B/DS, and SM-S918B/DS.

The GSMA IMEI Database clearly indicates that three smartphones have undergone testing and are set to hit the market in the Q1 2024. Rest assured, this information is official and reliable. The potent Snapdragon SOC is poised to elevate the performance of the new models to unprecedented heights, and in some regions, the devices are expected to be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2400 processor.

Exynos 2400 details are still under wraps, but rumors suggest that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy will outshine in terms of performance. The new customized processor is capable of reaching peak speeds of 3.3GHz, with the trio of Cortex-X4, Cortex-A720, and Cortex-A520 cores set to deliver impressive results.

Furthermore, the S24+ will house a 4900mAh battery, and the S24 Ultra will boast a 5000mAh battery. These capacities mirror their predecessors, yet the new Snapdragon processor’s enhanced efficiency promises extended battery life.

Shifting our focus to the camera department, it’s confirmed that the selfie camera will remain unchanged, while the telephoto lens will receive a substantial upgrade, jumping from 10MP to 50MP, thereby enhancing resolution. This improvement aims to deliver crisper and clearer images of distant subjects.

Anticipating a Q1 2024 release, Galaxy S24 series is poised to make its mark. The series, brimming with cutting-edge hardware features, is bound to astonish and delight users. Stay tuned for the groundbreaking launch of this remarkable lineup.
