After the popularity of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series gradually subsided, the next highly anticipated Fan Edition (FE) model-Galaxy S24 FE ushered in new news.
According to GalaxyClub, Samsung is developing a new model code-named R12. Looking back at the past three generations of FE models, the Galaxy S20 FE, S21 FE and S23 FE were codenamed R8, R9 and R11 respectively, so the identity of the R12 is imminent (but it should be noted that the Galaxy S22 FE, codenamed R10, is not on the market) .
Apart from the codename, no other information about the Galaxy S24 FE has yet been revealed. In contrast, a lot of news about the Galaxy S23 FE has been exposed during the same period last year, which also implies that the launch of the S24 FE may be delayed by a few months.
Galaxy S23 FE will be launched in some markets in October 2023, and will be launched in more markets in early 2024. But judging from the current development progress of the S24 FE, this model may not be available until November at the earliest.
The hardware configuration of the S24 FE is also unknown. The previous generation S23 FE used the Exynos and Snapdragon chips of the S22 series in terms of processor, rather than the chips of the flagship S23 series of the same period. Whether Samsung will continue this approach is still unknown.
