According to SamMobile, Samsung plans to return to the Exynos series of chips in the Galaxy S24 series, which will be launched early next year.. However, only the Galaxy S24 base model will be equipped with the Exynos 2400 and it won’t be available for all markets.
Reports suggest that the Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra models will still only come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy processor, while the Galaxy S24 standard version will come in Exynos 2400 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy variants for different markets.
This allows the Plus and Ultra models of the Galaxy S series to satisfy the exclusive contract between Samsung and Qualcomm on the one hand and prepares for the subsequent return of the Exynos chip on the other.
The Exynos 2400 chipset is said to have a graphics processing unit (GPU) with 6 processor workgroups (WGP), each with 2 compute units (CU).
Samsung is also actively working with game developers to introduce ray tracing technology into the Exynos 2400 chipset to provide a more realistic gaming experience.
