Samsung recently announced the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 foldable phones, and the next high-end smartphone to be released by the South Korean conglomerate is the Galaxy S23 device expected to arrive in January or February next year. the Galaxy S23 series will include an Ultra model as before, and according to new rumors, it will be equipped with a Qualcomm developed 3D Sonic Max fingerprint scanning sensor.
However, this is not a brand new sensor, as we have already seen it on the iQOO 9 Pro and Vivo X80 Pro.
This means that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will see faster fingerprint recognition capabilities with a larger scanning area. Previous reviews have already impressed us with the Vivo X80 Pro and iQOO 9 Pro for the accuracy and speed of the fingerprint scanning device.
However, it’s unclear if Samsung will use this new fingerprint scanner on all Galaxy S23 smartphones or if only the Galaxy S23 Ultra will get the upgrade, an answer that won’t be revealed until a few months from now.
