Samsung since the Galaxy S20 Ultra are using ultra-high pixel sensor, like Galaxy S20 / S21 / S22 Ultra are using 100 million pixels, now there is news that Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will use 200 million pixels sensor.
According to blogger @i Ice Universe, Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will use ISOCELL HP2, a 200-megapixel sensor that has not yet been released.
We all know that Samsung already has two 200 megapixel sensors, one is the ISOCELL HP1 launched last year, which is now confirmed to be on Motorola’s new flagship, and the other is the ISOCELL HP3, which was just released at the end of June this year, and the blogger claims that the HP2 has better overall performance compared to the HP1 and HP3.
The exact size of the HP2 is still unclear, but if it is really better than the HP1 (1/1.22 inches), the HP2 should have a larger sensor or better process technology.
According to previous news from Ming-Chi Kuo, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen2 (SM8550) processor. Qualcomm has previously announced that the Snapdragon Summit 2022 will be held for three days from November 15 to 17 and is expected to unveil the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.
