Samsung usually releases a new generation of Galaxy S series flagship phones in the first quarter of each year (mostly at the end of February). But this year, Samsung released the Galaxy S22 series a few weeks early, and will probably launch the Galaxy S23 series at the same time next year.
According to Asahi Daily News, the Samsung Galaxy S23 will be released at the Galaxy unpack 2023 event in San Francisco, California, in the first week of February, 3 to 4 weeks earlier than usual in previous years.

The foreign media pointed out that the new machines will go on sale on February 17, 2023. The report also revealed that Samsung will use Exynos 2300 processors in the Galaxy S23 series in some markets, but most of the global markets will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processors.
Samsung’s memory chip business has seen profits plummet due to the poor performance of the global smartphone market, and the South Korean company is trying to boost its performance with an early release of the Galaxy S23.
Samsung said on its third-quarter 2022 earnings call that the company is working to increase its share of high-end phones to improve profitability.
Market research firm Strategy Analytics predicts that smartphone market shipments this year will be 9 to 10 percent lower than the previous year due to the economic downturn, price hikes and epidemics. Consumers’ pockets are getting thinner, and in some countries’ online markets, Samsung has surrendered the top spot to brands that focus on the low and mid-range.
