Samsung Electronics’ 2022 investment spending of more than 53 trillion won, of which more than 90% was invested in the semiconductor industry.
According to a report released yesterday by Samsung Electronics, the company’s investment spending in 2022 will be 531,153 billion won (currently about RMB 280,449 million), up 10.1% from 482,222 million won in 2021 (currently about RMB 254,613 million), a record high.
Samsung Electronics invested 478,717 million won in the semiconductor industry (currently about RMB 252,763 million), accounting for 90.1% of total facility investment. Samsung Electronics invested more than 1,876.96 billion won in the fourth quarter of last year (currently about RMB 99.103 billion).
