Samsung’s community Camera Head recently confirmed in a post that the Galaxy S22 series phones will not get the 360-degree audio recording and 50-megapixel / 100-megapixel high-resolution shooting features in Expert RAW of the S23 series.

As for the lack of support for the 100-megapixel high-resolution RAW shooting mode in the Expert RAW app, community moderators say it would put too much of a burden on the system, taking up more processing time and memory than expected to meet regular shooting needs.

Samsung Galaxy S22 series also does not support the 50MP RAW shooting mode. This is because the Galaxy S23 Ultra comes with a 200-megapixel main camera that can take four 50-megapixel photos and combine them at the same time. This feature is not supported by the 108-megapixel main camera on the Galaxy S22 series.
Expert RAW is an innovative Samsung Galaxy camera app that captures RAW format files for post-professional image editing, helping you to take high-quality HDR (High Dynamic Range) photos and edit them with greater detail.
As for the 360-degree audio recording, the community moderator did not mention a specific reason for this.
