The Samsung community moderator has confirmed that the Camera Assistant app will be introduced to the Galaxy A series phones in the second half of this year.
Camera Assistant is a new module for the Good Lock app that supports HDR options, de-sharpening options, lag-free shutter bursts, and camera timeouts, among other features.
The Camera Assistant feature is currently only available on the following models:
- Galaxy S23 series
- Galaxy S22 Series
- Galaxy S21 Series
- Galaxy S20 Series
- Galaxy Note 20
- Samsung W23
- Samsung W23 Flip
- Galaxy Z Fold 4
- Galaxy Z Fold 3
- Galaxy Z Fold 2
- Galaxy Z Flip 4
- Galaxy Z Flip 3
Camera Assistant will try to support as many models as possible, and the Galaxy A series will get it with the OneUI update in the second half of the year,” the community moderator said. We will let you know as soon as the update is available”.
