In three images posted on its official Twitter account, Samsung Mobile appears to have confirmed the date of its next Unpacked event as August 10, 2022. The first image shows a grid of letters, numbers, and symbols, while the second image shows the same grid replaced by colored circles. Matching the characters to the colors, you can decode the message on the third image as 081022—that is, August 10, 2022.
This date is consistent with a recent leak from Evan Blass, who posted an image from Samsung that also hints at an even August 10 release date.
The third picture is a query: “When will something even better arrive?”
As for what exactly we will see at the launch event? Rumors are currently pointing to Samsung announcing its next generation of foldable products and smartwatches.
It’s likely that the Galaxy Fold 4 and Galaxy Flip 4 (the apparent designs for both of which have already been announced online), as well as the Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro, will be on the same stage at that time, according to reports. Samsung has yet to officially confirm a release date for the non-encrypted form, but the mystery seems fairly clear.
