Sources said that CK Storage took the lead in issuing a price increase notice for enterprise customers to raise NAND prices by 3 to 5%, the first wave of increases is 232 layers of NAND advanced memory products, but the price increase information did not get official confirmation from CK Storage. Some industry insiders believe that specific people operate the price through market information.
Industry sources revealed that, following the news of the Changjiang storage price increase, now Samsung, SK Hynix also can not wait to follow up. It is understood that the South Korean semiconductor manufacturers storage products, the same price increase in 3 ~ 5%. The total inventory of Korean semiconductors has been close to 50 trillion won, of which, Samsung Semiconductor is in the library of the most amount of products, reaching 31.9 trillion won (currently about RMB 166.837 billion), an increase of 69.9%. The price hike will help it get out of operational difficulties to some extent.
