Samsung A23 5G price announced: 50MP quad-camera, from about 2049 yuan

Earlier this month Samsung quietly released the Galaxy A23 5G phone, when the official announced the specifications and design of the new machine but did not announce the price. Yesterday, the official details of the machine’s launch in Taiwan, China, were announced, along with the price.

The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G will be available at Samsung Smart Pavilion, Samsung Mall and retail partners in Taiwan starting September 16. The phone will be available in two memory configurations, 4GB of memory and 64GB of storage and 6GB of memory and 128GB of storage, priced at NT$8,990 (approximately Rs. 2049.72) and NT$9,990 (approximately The Galaxy A23 5G is priced at NT$8,990 (approximately RMB 2049.72) and NT$9,900 (approximately RMB 2277.72) respectively.

In addition to the Galaxy A23 5G, Samsung also announced that the Galaxy A13 5G will also be available in Taiwan, which will be available starting September 1 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage for NT$6,990 (about Rs. 1,593.72) and NT$7,990 (about Rs. 1,821.72), respectively.

It’s worth noting that Samsung no longer offers a charger in the packaging of its latest Galaxy smartphones, though early Galaxy A13 5G and Galaxy A23 5G buyers won’t have to worry about this missing accessory. Those who order the Galaxy A13 5G before September 30 will receive an official 15W charger for free, as will those who purchase the Galaxy A23 5G before October 15. If purchased separately, the Samsung 15W charger costs NT$490 (about RMB 111.72).

Samsung will offer three color options for the Galaxy A13 5G and Galaxy A23 5G in Taiwan, with the A13 available in black, blue and white, while the A23 will come in black, blue and peach.

The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G measures 165.4 x 76.9 x 8.4mm, weighs 197g, and features a 6.6-inch Infinity-V IPS LCD screen with FHD+ resolution.

The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G is equipped with a Snapdragon 695 octa-core processor, supports 1TB storage expansion and has a built-in 5000mAh battery. In terms of image, Samsung Galaxy A23 5G has an 8MP camera in front and a 50MP+5MP+2MP+2MP quad camera in the rear. In addition, Samsung Galaxy A23 5G is equipped with OneUI 4.1 based on Android 12, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS / A-GPS, side fingerprint recognition, and USB Type-C interface.
