Recently, SAIC Maxus announced that the 1 millionth vehicle has officially rolled off the production line at its Wuxi factory. This time it is a SAIC Maxus Territory, which is positioned as a medium and large SUV.
It is reported that the products of SAIC Maxus Wuxi plant cover light passenger cars, MPVs, pickup trucks, SUVs and new energy series, and are sold to 73 countries and regions around the world. Officials stated that SAIC Maxus Wuxi new energy and GST series product production, research and development and equipment upgrading projects are stepping up implementation and construction, and the first model is scheduled to be put into production in the second half of this year.
SAIC Maxus Territory has a very hard-core front design, equipped with a large-sized polygonal black grille, and the lights on both sides are also very hard-core. The length, width and height of this car are 5046 (5214)/2016/1876mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2950mm. It is positioned as a medium to large SUV. The car’s interior design is relatively regular, providing a full LCD instrument panel and a floating central control screen. In terms of seat layout, it has five/six/seven seats to choose from.
In terms of power, the car will be available in gasoline and diesel versions. The 2.0T gasoline engine has a maximum power of 192kW and a peak torque of 410N·m. The diesel version is equipped with a 2.0T twin-turbocharged diesel engine + 48V mild hybrid system, with a maximum power of 160kW and a peak torque of 500 Nm. In terms of transmission system, it is equipped with ZF 8AT gearbox.
