SAIC General Motors announced today the July report card, the monthly delivery of new energy vehicles exceeded 10,000 for the first time, setting a new high for the company’s new energy vehicle delivery.

It is learned from SAIC-GM’s public account that the company delivered a total of 10,017 new energy vehicles in July, a year-on-year increase of 138% and a month-on-month increase of 33.5%. Among them, 3,722 Buick E5 pure electric five-seater SUVs were delivered in a single month, and the cumulative delivery reached 8,340; Buick E4 coupe pure electric SUVs delivered 1,762 vehicles in a single month; from August, the Buick E5 Avia four-wheel drive version will be delivered .
SAIC-GM also revealed that following the commissioning of the two Autoneng super plants in Shanghai and Wuhan, construction of the Dongyue Autoneng super plant has started and is expected to be put into operation in the first half of 2025. Relying on this electric vehicle platform, SAIC General Motors has launched three pure electric models: Cadillac LYRIQ, Buick ELECTRA E5, and Buick ELECTRA E4. Cadillac’s second electric vehicle based on the Altronic platform will also be unveiled within this year.
SAIC GM said that by 2025, SAIC GM will invest a total of 70 billion CNY in electrification and intelligent networking new technologies, and will launch a total of 10 electric models based on the Autoneng platform.
