SAIC Motor Corporation Limited (600104) released its 2022 annual report and 2023 first quarter report. In 2022, the total operating income will be 744.063 billion CNY, and the net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies will be 16.118 billion CNY. In the first quarter, SAIC Motor sold 891,000 vehicles, achieved a total operating income of 145.916 billion CNY, and a net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies of 2.783 billion CNY.
SAIC Motor plans to distribute a cash dividend of 3.37 CNY per 10 shares, with a total distribution of 3.874 billion CNY. The total cash dividends in 2022 will account for more than 30% of the net profit attributable to the parent company (including repurchases); in the past three years, the total cash dividends of SAIC have reached 226.45 billion (including repurchases).
SAIC’s self-owned brands will sell 2.785 million vehicles in 2022, accounting for 52.5% of total sales. Sales of SAIC passenger vehicles reached 839,000 units, and sales of new energy vehicles reached 1.073 million units, a year-on-year increase of 46.5%. SAIC’s sales in overseas markets reached 1.017 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 45.9%.
