Sabrent today announced a USB-C hard disk box, model DS-UCMH, which can install an M.2 SSD inside, and a 3.5 or 2.5-inch mechanical hard disk can also be inserted outside.
The hard drive box uses a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2×1 interface and has a theoretical speed connection of 10 Gbps. In addition, DS-UCMH has an offline cloning function, which can be cloned between hard disks in an offline state without host interaction, and the cloning direction can be determined by the buttons on the body.
The DS-UCMH hard disk enclosure uses USB-C to transfer data, and is powered by a 2A / 12V power adapter. The product is compatible with Microsoft Windows and macOS systems.
The official price and release date of the DS-UCMH hard disk enclosure have not yet been announced.
