At this year’s BW2023 event, ROG announced a new generation of ROG × EVANGELION EVA2 co-branded gear, including a limited edition Genesis chassis and RTX 4090 Raptor graphics card. According to ROG’s latest news, the new EVA2 and Akira-style customized ROG×EVA co-branded products will be available from September 5th.
The official product descriptions are as follows:
ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO Evangelion 丨 Limited Edition motherboard to the “Evangelion” in the main body as the design prototype, the use of the iconic red armour paint, coupled with the EVA No. 2 beast form egg back plate, from the product packaging to the product body (front and back), and then the software and the EVA for the depth of customization combination, after the boot will allow you to return to the world of EVANGELION. The EVANGELION is a new world for the EVA. The Polymo dynamic lighting effect is designed to present two patterns of EVA 2, one for the body of EVA 2 and the other for Akira, and supports dynamic flow effects and Aura Sync, making you feel as if you are piloting the exclusive EVA 2 and going into battle together.
The ROG STRIX RTX4090 Evangelion Limited Edition graphics card is based on the shape of the EVA-02 machine and the pilot Akira in Evangelion, using the iconic red armour of the No. 2 machine, and green, yellow and black in the original design, highly reproduced the image of the No. 2 machine, the back of the card has a large area of the image of Akira.
In terms of chassis, the flagship ROG HYPERION Genesis chassis Evangelion Limited Edition uses the iconic red paint of machine No. 2, the body is covered with RGB lighting effects and support for the AURA SYNC God Light Synchronization technology and added EVA No. 2 elements of the design of the mirror plate, not only supports ARGB colourful lighting effects but also supports the dismantling of the independent placement.
